What Is A Sales Funnel?
Whats Is A Sales Funnel?
A sales funnel is the marketing term for the journey your potential customers go through on their way to a purchase. They move from being someone who could potentially be a customer to an actual one.
Imagine taking your client's hand and guide them through a step by step sales process.
It would be great if all of your prospects immediately found their way to the final stage of the sales funnel, but that is simply not how it works.
A natural path exists to the sales funnel and in order to convert the greatest number of prospects to customers possible, you must have a solid understanding of that path.

The next step in the path of a sales funnel is the consideration/interest stage. It is in this phase that prospects begin the process of evaluating your brand as well as your products and services to determine whether they are a good fit for their needs.
The third phase is the decision making step. This is where your ideal client is ready to be converted.
The final step of the natural path of the sales funnel is conversion/action. This is when prospects make the decision to shop with your brand. Eventually, some of those customers will become repeat buyers.

The efficiency of a sales funnel can be evaluated based on the number of prospects found in each stage and on the conversion rates of the stages.
By tracking the behaviour of a lead it becomes possible to gather data. Such behaviour could include clicking emails or visiting pages on a website. The benefit of this technique is that it allows your sales team to identify precisely where a lead is located within the buying process.
